Year 11 Chromebook Loan Scheme05/09/2022

As many of you will be aware, over the past two years we have run a scheme for parents to purchase Chromebook for students to use in school. For a variety of reasons, this has not been rolled out to the current Year 11 cohort.

We recognise the importance of the forthcoming academic year to Year 11 students and are in a position to be able to offer all Year 11 students the opportunity to loan a Chromebook from the school. We have seen how beneficial access to this type of technology has been; enhancing the learning experience and allowing easy access to a range of learning and revision sites and platforms.

If you would like your child to take up this opportunity, we require a refundable deposit of £50. Payable via ParentPay, it will be refunded at the end of Year 11, once the device and charger have been returned undamaged. When the deposit has been received, we will issue Chromebooks to students in school.
