Careers Passport

A Careers Passport is a self-help programme to start your career journey.

If you want to get ahead of the game, start working on this little programme. You can begin as early as Year 7. Other than booking Work Experience in Year 10, there is no time limit but try to finish before you decide on your subject options.

  1. Register with Unifrog. Start to compile your profile.
  2. Log on to Unifrog and explore the world of work.
  3. Log on to GOV.uk and research Apprenticeships.
  4. Attend a Career or Apprenticeship Fair.
  5. Work Shadow a parent or relative for one day.
  6. Year 11 only - book an appointment with Mr Youngs to talk about what the Sixth Form can offer.
  7. Interview a teacher about their career path.
  8. In Year 11 and Year 12 you will have a Careers interview with Mr Matcham.
  9. Implement your personal Action Plan

You can fill in your personal passport so you can share this with Mr Matcham when you have your Careers interview.
