Thanks to the development of our new 3G community pitch, funded by the Football Foundation and Buckinghamshire Council, we're boosting opportunities for girls aged 9 to 16 of all playing abilities.

A Strong Connection to MK Dons

This partnership builds on the existing strong ties between the school and the club:

• Year 12 student Madeleine Pollard currently represents the Dons as a forward.
• First-team Head of Performance Analysis, Simon Dunn, left The Cottesloe School in 2011.

Beyond the Pitch:

This partnership extends into our curriculum and community, with MK Dons Community Trust supporting our pupils' development and offering coaching support to volunteers at our partner clubs: Wingrave Wasps, Wing Raiders, and Stewkley FC.

Simon Jones, Headteacher at The Cottesloe School, said: "We are therefore delighted to announce a partnership with MK Dons Community Trust, who will support the growth of girls and women's football for our local partner clubs, the school, and our wider community."

Dene Walsh, Head of Community Football at MK Dons Community Trust, added: "This partnership prompts a fantastic opportunity for young female football enthusiasts... We encourage people to sign-up to January’s free taster sessions, and hope to see a strong turnout of players on the nights.”
