Launch of KidsOut Giving Tree 2024

The Cottesloe School is proud to support KidsOut again this Christmas!

We are calling on our generous community to help make a difference in the lives of families who have faced physical and emotional abuse.

A Christmas tree will be in our main reception, where students, staff, parents, and community members can donate NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts for children and teenagers of all ages.

Last year, we donated over 300 gifts to KidsOut Beds, Bucks & Herts, and we aim to make this year even bigger and better! We encourage everyone to get involved and donate whatever they can. Please consider including gifts specifically for teenagers in your selections. They are often overlooked.

Mrs Pinto will be taking the gifts down to KidsOut offices on Friday 13th December, so please bring your gift before this date.

This is a really fantastic charity and has supported many thousands of families escaping domestic abuse. If you would like to learn more please watch this video

The process is simple:
  • You/your child can take a tag from the tree in reception and purchase the gift listed which goes to a child living in a refuge. These gifts are usually priced between £5-10. Then please bring it UNWRAPPED back into school and place it under the tree.
  • Or you can buy an extra gift whilst out Christmas shopping and your child can bring back into school, to place under the tree.
  • You can also donate online kidsout.org.uk/shop/

Together, we can make this holiday season a little brighter for families in need. Thank you Mrs Pinto for driving this for our school once again this year.
