What is a CV?

Here's some advice to help you create a strong CV:

1. Keep it Simple and Concise

  • One page is generally enough. Focus on the most relevant information.

5. Highlight Your Work Experience

  • Including any part-time jobs, volunteering, or internships.
  • List the company name, your position, and key responsibilities.
  • Focus on the skills you developed and the achievements you made.

6. Showcase Your Skills

  • List your technical skills, for example: computer software, languages.
  • Including your soft skills, for example: communication, teamwork, leadership.
  • Use bullet points to make your skills easy to read.

7. Add Your Interests and Activities

  • Highlight any hobbies, clubs, or extracurricular activities.
  • Explain how these activities have helped you develop valuable skills.

8. Proofread Carefully

  • Check for spelling and grammar errors.
